A woman with an umbrella narrowly avoided injury after being knocked over by a falling tree in southern China.
CCTV footage filmed in Shenzhen City in Guangdong Province on August 6 shows a roadside tree being uprooted by strong winds and toppling onto a woman who was walking with an umbrella.
Miraculously, the woman avoided being struck by the trunk, instead slipping through the gaps in the branches and escaping unharmed before leaving the scene on her own.
According to a duty officer from the Yutang Subdistrict Office, the sudden fall of the tree was related to the stormy weather that day.
After the incident, workers arrived at the location, but the woman had already left as she was uninjured.
By August 6, municipal maintenance staff had cleared the fallen tree.
