Toby Keith announced that he was suffering from stomach cancer in June of 2022. However, it appears that he was diagnosed sometime in the fall of 2021. The fall of 2021 also saw the release of the country musician’s latest album, which was dubbed Peso in My Pocket. Toby got his start in the world of country music nearly three decades ago, when he released his debut album. The musician’s debut album was called “Should’ve Been a Cowboy”, and its lead single was the hit song of the same name. Since the release of his debut, Toby has been a reliable presence on the country-music scene. This all changed with his cancer diagnosis.
When Toby Keith revealed his cancer diagnosis, he also had to cancel several upcoming shows. Now, it appears that Toby is slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things.
