Residents watched as a landslide tumbled down the hillside, blocking a road below.
Footage shows debris of rocks and soil sliding down the slope while locals stayed at a distance in Yala province, southern Thailand, on January 29.
The vehicles were stopped by local officers, who closed the road due to small debris continuously rolling down from the mountain since earlier that day.
A long line of drivers were stuck in a traffic jam with the driver making a turn to leave.
Resident Sobra Anas Afaf said: 'The soil flowed into the road like water. It was reported to officials and they closed down the road.
'It was reported immediately so the officers could check. We were so scared, but no one was hurt.'
A team stayed in the area to clear debris and make the road passable again.
Officials said that recent heavy rain had loosed the earth and caused the mud to slip. There were no injuries.
