In Curitiba, Brazil, a potentially serious accident was narrowly avoided when Cris Machado and her friends encountered a lift malfunction.
While riding in a work lift, one of the girls forgot to retract a rope attached to the trolley. As the lift doors closed, the rope became entangled, suddenly pulling her along. Quick intervention prevented further injury.
