Sisters Audrey and Judy Landers were born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but their mother raised them in upstate New York. At a young age, Audrey expressed an interest in becoming a singer. At the age of only 12, she released a hit single on the country-western charts, and she began showing up on television around the same time. At the age of 24, after having received a formal education and majoring in psychology, Audrey received the iconic role of Afton Cooper on the hit 1980s series Dallas.

Audrey Landers performed in the role of Afton Cooper for six years, and the role also helped Audrey achieve great recognition as a musical artist. Afton was a nightclub singer, and the creative staff of Dallas allowed Audrey to use her own songs while performing as the character. Shortly after her sister ventured into the entertainment industry, younger sister Judy expressed interest in following suit. Audrey helped Judy get her first roles, and the pair lived together in a Beverly Hills flat during the 1980s.
Nowadays, Audrey and Judy Landers are still around, though they aren’t working quite as much! Audrey is still the one of the two with the more prominent career, having recently appeared on the modern reboot of Dallas in 2013, as well as having appeared in the Lifetime original movie Engaged to a Psycho. Though the pair no longer share a flat together, they both live with their respective families in the city of Sarasota, Florida.
