The video, which gained over 11 million views, shows Cody reaching out to his mom, explaining that he woke up feeling a bit sick and on the wrong side of the bed but still wanted to have their morning prayer.
In his heartfelt prayer, Cody asks for blessings for those spending Christmas alone and for anyone feeling unwell.
