Susan Anton is a model and television actress that could be seen gracing boys’ bedrooms across America during the 1970s in the form of both posters and cutouts from magazines. After winning numerous beauty pageants during her college years, the star went on to become a popular model in various advertising campaigns, including ones for Muriel cigars and Serta mattresses. After she had begun appearing in popular advertisements, Susan began further increasing her profile with various appearances on television programs, including The Merv Griffin Show.

After making appearances in several television programs, Susan was given multiple opportunities to host her own variety show. The first opportunity was hosting Mel and Susan Together alongside country singer Mel Tillis. The show ran over the summer of 1978. Despite not being a huge success with audiences, the show further increased Susan’s notoriety. Later, she was given the opportunity to host her very own variety series, Presenting Susan Anton.
In addition to television appearances, Susan has also made various appearances in movies. She appeared in Cannonball Run II, and more recently in Sharknado: The 4th Returns. Currently, Susan has been given the job of hosting a new nostalgia-driven talk show on the Family Channel and Retro TV titled Idol Talk. The show reunites popular film, television, and music stars. Susan dabbled in music herself with a successful career as a recording artist that saw her share the stage with Frank Sinatra and Kenny Rogers.
Finally, Susan has also performed on stage both in Las Vegas and on Broadway and has even done some work behind the scenes with her current husband.
