Aiza Idam-Syuryun, a woman from Tuva, Russia, has recently grabbed the spotlight for her remarkable strength. She accomplished an astonishing 60 squats while carrying a hefty 50-kilogram sheep on her shoulders.
This incredible clip was filmed during the Khoi Kodureri competition at the Shagaa festival. Despite the event's unusual nature, the competition is a customary aspect of this event in Tuva.
Idam-Syuryun emerged as the winner among the women. As a prize, she was presented with the animal that she lifted during the competition.
"I went to celebrate Shagaa near my house. I was passing by the competition area and saw a woman carrying a sheep on her shoulders and squatting with it. It caught my interest, so I decided to test my strength and give it a try. I didn't even think about winning, but I did!", said Idam-Syuryun.
In the men's category, Namchyakay Buyan claimed victory with an impressive 171 squats, using the same weight.
