Leslie Jordan portrayed the character of Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace over the course of multiple episodes. The character was a nemesis of sorts to Megan Mullally’s character of Karen Walker. Leslie won an Emmy Award for his work on the series. Gene Wilder performed on Will & Grace multiple times throughout the show’s fifth season. Besides a small voiceover stint, this was the actor’s very final acting gig before his own death. Debbie Reynolds portrayed the mother of Debra Messing’s character of Grace Adler for 12 episodes during Will & Grace’s run. Debbie died the same year as Gene Wilder, which was 2016.
Will & Grace was revived shortly after Debbie Reynolds’ death, so she couldn’t return to reprise her role. Instead, Debbie’s real-life granddaughter was brought onto the reboot to portray Grace’s niece. Other performers that showed up on Will & Grace and have since passed away include Rip Torn, who played a rare love interest for Karen by the name of Lionel Banks.
