A wild sika deer made a surprise appearance in downtown Dalian, drawing crowds of intrigued locals in northern China.
The video was filmed in the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province on November 20.
Ms Huang, a witness, had just left the vegetable market when she stumbled upon the deer. A group of elderly men and women were seen admiring and gently touching the animal, which seemed unafraid of human contact.
Huang explained that the market is located near Lianhua Mountain, home to a herd of wild sika deer. The deer are accustomed to humans due to regular feeding by tourists who visit the mountain.
Consequently, these animals have become fearless of people and occasionally venture into the city for a stroll before returning to their mountain habitat.
