A wild koala bear wandered into a familys home and took a leisurely tour of the whole house even sitting on the familys beds.
Cristal Lumpaan was at home with her daughter Hannah Marie, seven, in Tambourine Mountain, Queensland, Australia, on October 10 when she heard a scratching sound on her balcony.
Adorable footage showed the source of the noise to be a curious koala stood staring in through the sliding doors.
Despite Cristals efforts to shoo it off her balcony, the marsupial sauntered into the house and in a 15 minute visit walked through all of the rooms, even sitting on the familys beds.
Cristal said: I was pretty scared as it was dark and was watching movie with my daughter and my friend and decided to go out check the door as we heard a knock.
We were so surprised when we spotted a koala and got so excited. My daughter couldnt believe what she was seeing.
We did offer the koala cucumber, carrots and strawberries but it wasnt interested at all.
Instead it went inside our house and explored everywhere from the sofa and bathroom to the fridge and bin.
This was an experience of a lifetime. It brought us so much joy.
We did try to coax the koala out of the house but after about 15 minutes it did find its own way outside again.
I thought it was gone in the bush but two days later, I spotted a black little round poo on the ground. When I looked up, the koala was straight above me eating gum leaves.
