Viewers could also enjoy a slew of guest stars. Few other shows could match up to the hundreds and hundreds of other expert actors who would come by the ranch. The Rifelamn’s director gave it a unique visual style. It made you feel like you were in the Wild West, even if you were technically in California. It was one of the most violent on TV. Lucas McClain’s gun was so prevalent that it was like a character of its own. It may not have been historically accurate, but seeing and hearing it go off was a thrill for viewers.
