Before receiving the role of Jean Reed on Adam-12, Mikki Jamison had been working in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade. However, she never managed to find much success, despite being named Warner Bros.’ Hollywood Deb Star in 1962. She signed with the studio that year, though not much work ever came from her contract.
Mikki’s biggest films roles during the 1960s came via the films Beach Ball and Ski Party, both of which were produced by American International Pictures. The latter feature also starred Frankie Avalon. Besides these films, Jean also did television work. She had been cast as Veronica in a live-action pilot based on the Archie comic book series in 1962, though the pilot didn’t end up being turned into a full show.
After divorcing her second husband and returning to Hollywood from Paris, Mikki Jamison resumed acting for a period of time before giving it up altogether.
