Victoria Vetri was born in San Francisco, though both of her parents had been born in Italy. Victoria became interested in performing at an early age and studied art in college. She began garnering acting roles starting in the early 1960s, and it seemed that she was poised for great success by the end of the decade thanks to the notoriety that she had received via her appearances in Playboy and Rosemary’s Baby.
In 1970, Victoria received her first and only lead role in a feature film, with that film being When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. Shortly before the film’s release, the Manson Family had murdered Victoria’s close friend Sharon Tate. Victoria came to blame herself for the murders and would live in fear of being murdered herself over the next several decades. This fear led to the former actress committing a shocking crime in 2010.
