'This is the intense moment a Venus Flytrap plant captures a beetle and attempts to squeeze the life out of it.
Recorded by David Freeman on November 24, 2020, this clip features a beetle climbing up the said plant and simulating the carnivorous's trigger hairs, causing it to shut itself and trap the insect.
The filmer wrote: "Looks like my B52 Venus Flytrap has finally found its next meal! Over the next 10 days, the trap will remain closed, release digestive juices, and slowly digest the insect. Isn't nature incredible?"
