It was originally created by Erle Stanley Gardner in the 1930s as a series of novels, the character of Perry Mason was brought to life on the small screen in 1957 and has since become one of the most iconic figures in the genre. To this day, it remains one of the most refined legal dramas of all time. But of course, no show is perfect and if you look closer, you’ll see quite a few Perry Mason bloopers!

Many of the stories featured newspaper clippings that were related to the plot. However, if you look a bit closer, you’ll see there are many errors in the articles that didn’t closely work with the plot. Perhaps the scriptwriters should have had a closer word with the journalists! But what’s even worse is that there are times when there are newspapers that are completely blank! Perhaps there was nothing newsworthy that day.

There was also one episode in which one murder victim is killed with a blow to his head. But when his body was examined, we could see his bald head but a blow was nowhere to be found. Perhaps it blew away?

Perry Mason also had one interesting episode called “The Case of the Nervous Accomplice.” With a title like that, you want to find out who this nervous accomplice is. Well, during one frame of the episode, we see a mosquito flying on the frame. This is because the fly got caught on the camera’s lens. Maybe it was the fly who was the real nervous accomplice1

These are just some of the Perry Mason bloopers that are worth looking out for!
