"Raiders of the Lost Ark" is a classic adventure film that captivated audiences when it was released in 1981 and still remains a classic to this day. It was directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Lawrence Kasdan, and based on a universe and characters created by George Lucas. In other words, with a team like this, they could only make a perfect film. Well, not exactly. The film is a masterpiece, but you’ll still find an Indiana Jones blooper here and there!

For example, you might remember when all those pesky tarantulas are crawling over Indy. This might not be considered an Indiana Jones blooper but it certainly is. These tarantulas were supposed to be from South America but they were actually from Mexico. But unless you have an obsession about arachnids, you weren’t really paying attention – or were you?
Another Indiana Jones blooper is when Indy comes face to face with a cobra. The cobra was native to Southeast Asia rather than South America. But again, unless you look closely at the cobra – and we suggest you don’t – you probably didn’t notice.
Early on in the film, Indy is running away from a tribe of natives who are trying to attack him. Luckily, his pilot sees him and starts stirring up the plane’s engine. But how the heck did the pilot see him when he was running through the forest?
If you’ve read your Bible, you’ll also notice that the expert archaeologist Dr. Jones makes a blunder when he discusses the Ten Commandments tablets and states that the shattered tablets were put in the Ark of the Covenant. But were they?
There are so many great Indian Jones blooper scenes that luckily didn’t cause damage to the film. Nevertheless, it’s still a fun way to see the film in a new light.
