In this video, we’ll be taking a look at some of the sexiest starlets from the 1970s. These include Pam Grier, Raquel Welch, Teri Garr, Diane Keaton, and Dorothy Stratten. Pam Grier was the sexiest black woman of the decade thanks to her role as the titular heroine in films like Coffy and Foxy Brown. In the 1990s, she proved that she was still as sexy and tough as ever in the hit film Jackie Brown. She’s still around, though her recent work has been on television.
Raquel Welch became a sex symbol in the 1960s, but her fame only increased over the course of the 1970s. Like Pam Grier, she’s still working today. Teri Garr first turned on audiences via her appearance in Mel Brooks’ 1974 parody Young Frankenstein. She would go on to appear in many more films before retiring in 2002 as a result of a tragic diagnosis. Diane Keaton appeared in many critically acclaimed films during the 1970s, and she’s still just as respected of a presence in Hollywood today.
Finally, Dorothy Stratten was a 1970s sex symbol whose things didn’t turn out quite as good for as the ones mentioned above. Join Facts Verse as this 70s star was every man’s dream girl, try not to gasp when you see her now.
