Given that Tammy’s marriage to George Richey lasted for two decades and only came to an end because of her death, one might think that it had been a pleasant relationship! However, Tammy and George Richey’s marriage was actually very troubled, and many blame this troubled marriage for Tammy’s death from substance abuse.
Just months after tying the knot with George Richey, Tammy made headlines when she claimed to have been kidnapped in a supermarket parking lot and then beaten to a pulp while being forced to drive the assailant nearly 100 miles away from her home in Nashville, Tennessee.
