Tragedy is pretty much a “family tradition” for the bloodline that country legend Hank Williams started. Hank Sr. passed away from a drug overdose when he was just 29 years old. His son Hank Jr would later follow in his father's footsteps and also get caught up in drugs and alcohol. After a failed suicide attempt, he would eventually find his reason for being on this blue spinning rock, but tragically right after he found his own voice, he would experience a catastrophic accident that almost took his life.
Then you have his son Shelton, who goes by the name Hank III when performing his interesting brand of country-punk hybrid music. Taking a few pointers from his father and grandfather, Hank III has also had a lifelong battle with substance abuse and has found himself on the wrong end of the long arm of the law more than a few times.
Last but not least, we have Colemon Williams, otherwise known as Hank Williams IV. While the world has only caught a glimpse of what this young, up-and-coming star had to offer, it's pretty safe to say that he too will have to contend with quite a bit of pain and suffering throughout his life if history is anyway a foreshadowing of things to come.
