Before venturing into the pornographic film industry, Juliet Anderson traveled the world and worked in a variety of positions. In Japan, Juliet worked as a file clerk, a teaching assistant, and an ESL teacher. In the 1960s, she moved back to America and served as the receptionist for a sexploitation producer, as well as for Burger King’s home office. Following this period, she moved to Finland and worked as a radio journalist. It was during this time that Juliet became interested in documentary filmmaking, and her interest in documentary filmmaking is what led her into porn after returning to America from Finland in the late 1970s.
