I Dream of Jeannie was one of the most groundbreaking, beloved, and commercially successful series to ever hit the airwaves. Even though it only ran for five seasons, the program continued to air in syndication for decades and can still be viewed today on various channels and streaming services. Over the decades, it's amassed quite the following of fans of all ages and from many different walks of life – and still is considered one of the most defining sitcoms of its time.
The show had this unmistakable magic about it – and not just because it was about a Genie who was discovered in a bottle. But in order to make that magic come alive, the cast and crew of the series had to go through some real-world adventures of their own.
