The Dukes of Hazzard is an iconic piece of American television. You got the cousins Bo and Luke behind the wheel of the General Lee, one of the most famous cars of all time. Then you have the lovely and alluring Daisy Duke who was always wearing those skin-tight denim shorts. Every teenage boy alive in the late 70s and early '80s couldn't help but drool a little bit and develop one heck of a crush on her.
Those Denim short-shorts, however, would both bring her a lot of fame and notoriety as well as negative attention. That didn't matter much to Catherine Bach, the actress that played the lovely Southern Belle. In fact, the attention both with the good and the bad helped make her career. Heck, her name was even inserted into the commonly used English lexicon as a euphemism for the type of shorts she would wear. Yes, those Daisy Dukes became a national treasure.
