1962 was a significant year for fans of the James Bond films. Not only was that the year that the first )007 film, Dr. No, hit theaters, but it was also the year that Ursula Andress became the very first Bond Girl when she played Honey Ryder opposite Sean Connery.
That proved to be the Swiss actress's breakthrough role. Previously she had appeared in a few minor flicks, but she hadn't managed to find any roles that really showed off her full potential.
