It came as a shock when it was reported that Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Stallone are calling it quits after marking their silver anniversary earlier this year.

Jennifer and Sly came into contact in 1988. After starring in such iconic films as Rocky and First Blood, the New Yorker was already a Hollywood icon. He married Sasha Czack from 1975 to 1977 and Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987, but he ended up divorcing both of them (1974-1985). In addition, he was already the father of two wonderful children, Sage and Seargeoh, from a previous marriage.
After an on-and-off relationship that began shortly after their initial meeting, the couple welcomed their first child, Sophia Rose Stallone, in 1996. The couple tied the knot the following year. Their daughter, Sistine Rose Stallone, was born in 1998. Scarlet Rose Stallone, the couple's third child, was born in 2002. With such a beautiful family, no one guessed anything could go wrong. However, in the divorce filing, Jennifer is seeking a divorce from her husband, who has intentionally dissipated, depleted, and/or wasted marital assets, which has had a negative financial impact on the marital estate.
Contrary to what many people believe, their disagreement over their puppy wasn't what called for the divorce. Sylvester Stallone has spoken up about the reasons for his divorce from Jennifer Flavin and has dismissed rumors that a fight over the couple's dog was at the root of their separation. According to him, he and his ex-wife, a fashion model, had just grown apart after their 25-year marriage.
In Sly's words, his feelings for Jennifer will remain unchanged forever. Continuing, he gushed that she was the most pleasant person he had ever met and an extraordinary individual in her own right.
