Snorkeler swims with giant turtle bigger than her

This is the breathtaking moment a freediver swam with a giant turtle bigger than her whole body.

Glendale Giron Bontes was recorded diving with the giant sea turtle on Balicasag Island, Bohol, the Philippines, on August 29.

Footage shows Glendale majestically swimming with the enormous sea turtle in the deep blue ocean.

Glendale said: 'The turtle was so close to me, I felt like they were my bestie.'

The Philippines is home to several species of marine turtles and it has become a popular destination for diving and snorkeling.
