Joanna Cameron got into the entertainment industry when she was just 19 years old. After being found by Bob Hope, Joanna made her debut in the film How to Commit Marriage. In the mid-1970s, she was cast as the titular character of Isis on the show The Secrets of Isis.
The Secrets of Isis was a success, but it only ran for two seasons. Following the show, it didn’t take Joanna very long to realize that there weren’t many prospects left for her in the entertainment industry. She retired from acting after performing in a made-for-television film that was released in 1980. Following her retirement, she worked as a nurse for some time before getting into hotel marketing.
