Sandra has a reputation for being anything but a diva and not one to stir up a headline to get noticed. Despite this, she has revealed a few personal details of her life in a recent interview. One of her major goals for doing so seems to be to educate others through her experiences.
One of the most important details she spoke about was the adoption and foster care process. She knew that her 2 African-American children were the right fit for her, but the adoption process was long and grueling. She also had a difficult time overcoming her daughter’s triggers from years in the system.
Sandra’s family has unfortunately been forced to deal with racism. She refuses to avoid discussing the taboo topic with her children. Instead, she has worked to educate them on how they’ll be treated in the world outside their door.
One of her most vulnerable moments was when she was stalked and had her home broken into by Joshua James Corbett. He was arrested about a year later, and he didn’t hurt her or her children. Despite this, she suffered from PTSD and needed to receive therapy to keep it from affecting her children.
Sandra also struggled to find a permanent relationship. She had a few flings before attempting to settle down with Jesse James. They were divorced due to infidelity. She now lives with Bryan Randall but, despite being co-parents, they have no plans to get officially married at this time.
