On January 9, 2022, it was announced that legendary stand-up comedian and beloved television actor Bob Saget passed away at the age of 65. The comedian was in the midst of a successful tour that was set to take him around the world. His death proved a surprise to many, as Bob had recently posted on social media that the tour was going incredibly well. In fact, Bob had apparently performed a full two hours the night prior to his death without even realizing it, showing he had stamina.

As soon as Bob’s death was announced, longtime friend and former costar John Stamos took to social media to pay his condolences. Bob and John remained good friends after their time starring together on Full House. In fact, Bob remained good friends with all of the stars of the successful series, both the kids and the adults. Though Bob didn’t come back as a main cast member for the reboot series Fuller House, which premiered on Netflix in 2016, he did end up making an appearance on it as a guest star.
