For well over a decade, Betty remained known to the world as Sue Ann Nivens. However, 1985’s The Golden Girls gave Betty a new iconic role that would go on to surpass all of the actress’s previous work in popularity. On The Golden Girls, Betty played the lovable comedic role of Rose Nyland, and she remains best known as the character to this day. However, Betty still adamantly continues to work. She has even taken part in another successful sitcom since The Golden Girls ended, with that being Hot in Cleveland.

With all of the work that Betty has put in over the years, she has attained a vast amount of wealth. Betty is estimated to be worth around $75 million, and her favorite things to spend her money on are Cadillacs and charities benefitting animal rights.
