Raging river swallows up tractor

This is the moment a tractor driver is forced to leap to safety as his tractor falls into a raging river in Honduras

Footage shows the driver reversing and losing control of the vehicle close to the edge of a cliff in Lempa department.

His workmates in desperation shout at him ''Mario, tirate!'' (Mario, get out).

The man then jumps out of the tractor just seconds before the vehicle falls off the trail and into a raging river below.

He then tries to reach the tractor but the strong currents of the river sweep the vehicle off the river bank.
