A pet cat presented a live toad in the bed, terrifying its sleeping owner into a hasty awakening in southern China.

A cat caught a toad and decided to place it right next to its sleeping owner's bed. The unsuspecting owner, upon feeling the amphibian's unique texture, was jolted awake in alarm.
