An opossum mum was spotted carrying babies on her back in a suburb in Trinidad and Tobago.
With its offspring in tow, the marsupial crossed the road in the suburbs of Maraval on July 13.
Onlooker Chloe Cadet said: 'I was leaving my house when I saw them. I was really excited because I've never seen one with babies like that.'
Opossum are known to sometimes ride their mothers' backs even after leaving the pouch. This helps them learn how to hunt for food and avoid predators on their own.
