Sometimes this has to do with being from a marriage that has since dissolved, and other times it’s because the child (or the parent) has taken a stage name. But watching a real-life parent and child act opposite each other on the big screen is really special. Perhaps it’s because we know the special bond they already share, which then makes the relationship seem all that more real on screen.
