Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Ann McClenny was born in Dallas and got interested in acting almost from the get-go. She spent much of her childhood and her teens appearing in local TV shows and theater productions. As an adult, she moved to New York City in hopes of making it on the big screen.
While she had an initial struggle breaking in, it wasn’t long until she started receiving roles in both film and television – focusing mainly on the latter for much of her early career in the 1970s and 1980s. She showed that she was a versatile actress – appearing in soap operas, dramas, crime shows, sitcoms, and historical dramas.
Morgan Fairchild also won praise for her film roles which were as varied as her TV work. Since the 1970s, she’s worked without taking too much time off, and even as recently as 2022, she’s been acting – and she’s still got a couple films still in production right now!
