Fans of comedic acting legend Michael J. Fox were delighted to see him give a rare public appearance recently, appearing alongside his Back To The Future costar, Christopher Lloyd at the 2022 New York Comic Con. While the actor has continued to struggle with Parkinson’s Disease since being diagnosed at age 29, he still remains as optimistic and passionate as ever.

Fox and Lloyd reminisced at the Comic Con panel about their days of filming together, including was it was like for Lloyd to have to literally reshoot every scene he had done for 6 weeks after Fox was brought on to replace Eric Stoltz as the lead. They also discussed the recent passing of Fox’s mother, Phyllis. Fox revealed that she had just passed away and that she tried to convince him not to do Back To The Future in the first place. She apparently thought he’d be too tired from the rigorous schedule of filming Back To The Future at Night, and his sitcom Family Ties during the day.
Fortunately for all of us, he chose to ignore that one piece of advice from his mom. In this video, we’re taking a closer look at that Comic Con appearance, as well as some other recent press that Fox has done. That includes a video he released on Instagram recently that was cocreated with AARP, as well as an interview and a video he did in 2020 as he was releasing his book, No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality.
