On June 20, 2024, in Changde, Hunan, southern China, a dramatic rescue unfolded amidst severe weather conditions.
Following a torrential downpour, large areas were submerged under deep, rapidly flowing water. A poor dog, caught in a plot of land by the swift currents, was in peril until two quick-thinking individuals intervened.
They extended a ladder into the water, providing a makeshift bridge to safety for the stranded animal.
Working together, one man held the ladder steady while the other climbed up and carefully retrieved the trapped dog.
