Keith Thibodeaux was born on December 1, 1950, in Lafayette, Louisiana. From a young age, he began playing the drums and soon became an expert. His father took him to an audition for I Love Lucy. Lucille Ball watched in awe as Keith played the drums and realized that she had found the perfect actor for Little Ricky.
Apart from his role as Little Ricky, he also appeared several times as Johnny Paul Jason in The Andy Griffith Show. As an adult, he decided to pursue his music career once again. He became the drummer for a band called David and the Giants.
He still performs reunion concerts with the band today. He’s also the Executive Director for his wife’s ballet company. He and his wife have started a ballet dance academy in Brazil.
