Sidney Kibrick got into child acting at the insistence of his parents during the Great Depression. The $750 a week that Sidney brought home during his time working on the Little Rascals shorts helped out a great deal. However, it means that Sidney had to put up with the terror of fellow child star Carl Switzer behind the scenes! Sidney played the character of Woim, who was always bullying the much more beloved character of Alfalfa. However, Carl Switzer played Alfalfa, and it was Carl who was the bully behind the scenes.
