Homes in St Petersburg, Florida were hit by storm surges caused by Hurricane Idalia.
Footage filmed on August 30th shows residential streets left waterlogged.
The filmer, a local resident, commented: "One block from the ocean on a barrier island to the mainland of St Petersburg, Florida. Storm surges hit five feet in this area. Roads were impassible. Most evacuated... some of us stayed."
