Hundreds of locals in T-rex suits took part in this hilarious dinosaur race in Washington.
Footage shows the runners wearing inflated comedy Tyrannosaurus outfits at the Emerald Downs racetrack in Auburn on August 21.
A total of 150 participants joined the dinosaur race which started in 2019 but was postponed for almost three years due to the pandemic.
The sporting venue also hosts other unusual racing events including babies, kids, wiener dogs, bulldogs, and corgis.
Emerald Downs president Phil Ziegler said: ‘People love dogs, they love horses, and the connection is really strong. They come out for one thing, but maybe they'll fall in love with the other thing and turn into racing fans.'
Horse trainer Frank Lucarelli said that their bizarre races attract more crowds to their racetrack.
He said: ‘It brings a different crowd of people, and getting them introduced to horse racing that way isn't such a bad thing.
‘You've got all the people that come to watch the corgis, and some will say, ‘This horse racing is kind of cool,' and they will come back. Even if it's a handful, it's a handful more than you had.'
More T-rex races were organised in the past months around the world. In April, a total of 100 dinosaur runners raced at the Tyrannosaurus Race Oyama in Tottori, Japan on April 16.
