During the 1950s, Hollywood was graced by some of the most stunningly gorgeous people in history, including the Gabor sisters. They were powerful figures who were also known for their contentious ambitions. After arriving in the United States in the 1940s, it did not take them long to establish themselves as the dominant force in Hollywood. Despite their wealth and fame, each of these people experienced their share of tragedy. Magda had survived the Holocaust, Eva had suffered the devastating loss of true love, and wisecracking Zsa Zsa had to deal with the emotional ups and downs of bipolar disorder, among other things that caused her pain.

The appearance of Zsa Zsa, Eva, and Magda Gabor caused a stir in even the most celebrity-accustomed nightclubs. The three stunning ladies went down the street wearing expensive furs, lush satin, and brilliant diamonds. The author, Sam Staggs, claims the sisters' success was due to their incessant effort; they did not rest on their laurels. Magda, the eldest sister, was a very beautiful woman. Of all the sisters, she was the only one not to have undergone any beautification surgery.
Magda's career as an actress was not particularly fruitful, but she managed to keep herself busy by being married to many men.

Zsa Zsa, the middle sister, gained the most notoriety due to her flamboyant lifestyle and general attitude. Between the years 1940 and 1950, she saw multiple surgeons in an effort to improve the appearance of her cheekbones, complexion, and eyes. Following the conclusion of her film and television career, she married Prince Frederic von Anhalt, who bestowed upon her the title of princess. Eva Gabor, the youngest of the Gabor sisters. Following her first marriage, in 1937, at the age of 18, to a Swedish osteopath named Dr. Eric Drimmer, Eva became the first of her sisters to immigrate to the United States. She managed to keep her fortune by starting her own clothing brand in the 1970s and has avoided acting in films in favor of voiceover work.
