The American action series Hardcastle and McCormick only lasted for three seasons on the ABC network during the 1980s, but it has since maintained a cult following due to its unique premise and captivating cast. The show followed the exploits of its two titular characters, one of whom is a retired judge and the other of whom is a racecar driver that the judge has made a deal with to help him catch some crooks that have managed to evade the law due to technicalities.
