Clint Eastwood can do all of that and more. He’s known as the world’s richest cowboy because he started in Westerns and slowly worked his way up from there. His work on the show Rawhide was grueling. He only earned a measly $750 per episode. The three The Man With No Name films were massive successes. They coined the term spaghetti western but only netted Clint $15,000 each. His paycheck massively increased to keep him on for the third. That film was also one of his biggest hits. His other projects kept making money after that. It didn’t matter whether he was acting or directing in them. His name alone was enough to encourage ticket sales for films such as Gran Torino and Dirty Harry.
The fortune he’s amassed allows him to support his children. He has at least eight, and being part of their lives is important to him. They’ve even been involved with his movies. He also supports his local community. He bought a large plot of land, built homes on it, and sold them to the locals. The rest was made into a nature preserve. Clint does leave a bit of money for himself, though. He collects vehicles and real estate. The value of all of them put together is impressive. He’s a typical example of what happens when you have hit after hit. You can’t take it with you, so you might as well put the money towards what’s important to you.
