Their ‘show within a show’ was called Tool Time, and it was one of the biggest aspects of Home Improvement that made it one of the top-rated shows of the ‘90s. But did you know that these two Home Improvement stars are linking up once again for a new show? And did you also know it’s not the first time they’ve done that since Home Improvement ended? In this video, we tell you all about their new reality show, called “More Power.”
It’s a really cool deep dive into various tools, utilizing not only Tim Allen’s garage but also trips out into the world. Allen and Karn co-hos this new show on the History Channel, and it’s a chance for viewers to see them up to their old shtick. And a chance to see them put a bunch of really cool tools to the test. In each episode, they’ll start out in Tim’s garage and talk about the particular tool they’re examining for the day. They’ll use it there as best they can, before heading into the field.
While there, they’ll meet up with experts in the field, who will show Tim and Richard how to professionally use the tool. It’s a really cool extension of the Tool Time concept, and this time it won’t be courtesy of a writer’s room. It’ll be real people, talking about real tools, and it’s unscripted.
