A woman filmed as she rescued a sloth struggling in the middle of a road in Coqueiro Seco, Brazil, on February 11.
Claudia Pereira spotted the animal lying on the tarmac without moving. She then picked the sloth up and proceeded to lift it towards the vegetation at the side of the road.
After Pereira places it down, the sloth turns around to look at the filmer almost as if it was giving a look of gratitude.
