Four massive humpback whales breach in synchronisation off Alaska's coast

A group of four massive whales performed a synchronised dive when they all breached out of the water at the same time.

Jessie Wright was at False Bay, Alaska, US, with their family on July 31 when they were treated to an epic show of natures power and grace.

Breathtaking footage captured the moment four huge humpback whales soared out of the Pacific Ocean with their colossal bodies clearing the surface completely.

As they came crashing down back into the water, they sent spray towering into the sky as another one of their pod showed its head above the waves.

Wright said: I was so amazed it was this close to land. Ive no idea whether they intended to do it, but the whales were so in sync with each other when they jumped.

I have never seen his before. I was so excited to experience this with my two oldest girls.

We were not able to accurately count exact amount, but we guessed there were about 25 in the bay but in the video we caught four of them jumping.

They kept jumping throughout a 40-minute span after the main show. But they would only jump one on their own.
