American actor and comedian John Herbert Gleason (February 26, 1916 – June 24, 1987), better known as Ralph Kramden in the TV series The Honeymooners, was born John Herbert Gleason. He also established The Jackie Gleason Show, which had a successful campaign from the mid-1950s to the 1970s.

Gleason also wrote, composed, and conducted extensively. Gleason had a great side career in music, releasing a succession of top-selling "mood music" CDs. His debut album, Music for Lovers Only, with over a million copies sold, holds the Billboard Top Ten Charts record for the longest stay (153 weeks). His discography comprises almost 20 singles, nearly 60 albums, and over 40 CDs.
