The Addams Family’s “creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky” atmosphere has made them one of the most beloved fictional families of all time. They first stepped off the page of comics and onto the screen with a TV show in the 60s but became popular enough to grow into a franchise that adds new entries at least every few decades.
Carolyn Jones will always have the distinction of being the original Morticia. She gave the character a dark and elegant demeanor for future actresses to emulate.
