A massive avalanche hits Himalaya Base Camp no. 1 on June 4, 2022 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The huge volume of snow alone is terrifying, but considering how close it got to the camps is heart-wrenching. All the climbers had to evacuate fast before this Everest avalanche got extremely close to their camp. While no one died, the snow sprayed many standing in close proximity. A bystander managed to capture the incident that reflects how vulnerable human life can be around nature's greatest creations.
